What is wrong with my TV. One minute it was on and the next minute look like it was in 3D mode. Maybe I should say more like a rainbow. I adjusted the red, green & blue yet its still fuzzy. How can I fix.
My tv has a similiar(maybe the same problem). After it warms up the sceen changes to a "fisheye look". I can shut it off and it will be ok, but the problem keeps coming back quicker. Must be something electrical with the video, but not sure what.My tv has a similiar(maybe the same problem). After it warms up the sceen changes to a "fisheye look". This tv doesn't have 3D capabilities - the image appears blurry because both images are displayed on the same screen at the same time. Just don't use the 3D option from the BluRay player, view the movie normally - 2D.
You will also find there is colour disorientation in these areas. The reason is that your settings on the york had shifted, also it could be due to failure of the degaussing coil, or if there is any fault with the convergence inside the picture tube which could be a major fault.
Try to degauss, see the picture tube neck for any ring magnets out of alignment, also check the focussing in the rear panel which could have shifted.
TV shows that kind of picture when convergence out ICs become defective. Replace 2 big black convergence ICs on D board in TV, these ICs are mounted on silver heat sink, requires soldering work if you are not comfortable with replacing ICs, call local tv tech. Let me know if there is any further question. Thanks.
put a convergence repair kit in and that should take care of the issue. You should be able to get a repair kit at the following link. http://www.tvrepairkits.net/
