if you have a harddrive copy the game to it......assuming it's a retail copy and a "bad burn" isn't what your experiencing. If that doesn't work, could be a host of other issues that can't be diagnosed w/o repeating the problem with other games....
your xbox hardrive may be full...check to see that you have space on it...it could also be that you have too many Farcry2 games saved on it...if you have multiple games saved, try erasing one that you dont need
I would check the bios and see what the shutdown temps are for the cpu as they may be set too low ( check the manuals for the cpu's as you dont want to set it too high as obviously if it does get too hot you dont want the cpu's ( processors ) to blow up or die on you.
