I do not remember my code to unlock garmin nuvi

Going back to the security location will unlock the unit but in order to reset the pin code, the original pin code must be input.
To unlock the unit, it must be sent back to Garmin.

If you forgot your pin code or can't remember the safe location, you will need to send it to Garmin to unlock it.

If you have forgotten the PIN, take the unit to the location at which the PIN was entered. The unit will unlock and you can change the PIN to something you will remember.

If you forgot your PIN, take the unit to the location at which you entered the PIN. The unit will unlock, and you can turn off the Garmin lock or enter a different PIN.

If you don't remember your PIN, your only other options are to take the unit to the location at which the PIN was set, or send the unit back to Garmin.

Either bring it to the location where you programmed the code or send it back to garmin. this is an anti-theft feature.
That is the only way to fix it.

You cannot do nat, to prevent stolen garmins to be sold. Send it tro Garmin and the will help You!

So unfortunately, there is only one option: You have to send your nüvi into the Garmin, who can unlock it. Remember original receipt.

To reset the GPS, put your thumbnail under the Garmin logo and pull off the faceplate. Press the reset button.

If you still need PIN, you can either drive to secure location to unlock the GPS and if you don't know it, the only other way to unlock it is to contact Garmin.

if you hold the reset button down for 2 hours 30 mins the garmin's entire system resets and you start from scratch
