Question about Acer Aspire 3003LCi Notebook

1 Answer

Battery When I plug my battery, the system would stop responding (freezes). When this happens I must remove the battery and disconnect power, then restart without the battery.

I had the same problem. The computer froze or was extremely slow, with keyboard and mouse only working intermittently. The battery was bad. So, either use it plugged in or pony up for an expensive new battery. Leaving laptops plugged in will shorten battery life, as my teenager found.

How to unlock a keyboard on a dell inspiron 5737

I would like to have more info, but, you can try these steps. After
each step try keyboard for operational.

1-remove battery, open pc and hold power button for 10-15
seconds. This resets system board. Replace battery and restart.

2-restart pc clicking F2 key to access BIOS, choose default settings,
restart.

3-remove battery, with plastic flat scribe pry top of keyboard down
and up from casing, disconnect ribbon cable, remove keyboard, clean
keyboard thoroughly under keys. Replace in reverse order.

4-replace keyboard. Free if under warranty. Less than $100 if not.

My dell vostro 1015 laptop freezes intermittently. when this occurs, all buttons and the cursor will just freeze (fails to respond). i then had to force shutdowm by holding down the power button for 5secs....

When does your system freeze? Shortly after booting or my this be an overheating problem? When Laptops / PCs core temperature is too high they tend to stop responding. Maybe it could also be a driver related problem. Can you reproduce the error or is it happening only when you browse certain websites, etc?

Xps 420 keeps freezing or going to blue screen

Same with my Dell Vostro 420. At this rate I will just buy a new PC as I am wasting too much time on this. We tried usual stuff like cleaning inside, making cooler, removing certain virus software, still no luck. I have to restart 4 times a day and keep saving material. Can only restart by turning it off by pulling out power socket.

The screen is black,

Sometimes the PSP's will freeze for one reason or another. In most cases the psp will turn off within a minute and then restart itself. If not disconnect any power supply and remove the battery for a moment to manually reset it. Hopefully you saved recently.

Q: when the "system suddenly Freeze"...was the display working then? If not, then re-seat the video card. Also, re-seat the memory modules into their connectors.

I have the same problem. Sometimes mine just turns off, then back on plays for 1-2 seconds then turns off/on again, and does it about 4-5 times before freezing.
