Hi, It could be that the paddle is sticking or the belt is slipping. This would cause the ingredients not to be mixed properly. Take the empty pan and paddle out of the machine and see if you can spin it freely by hand. It shouldn't stick. If it does stick then the sealed bearing is frozen and a new bread pan is needed. If everytrhing is fine, then check the belts. Belts and motor are located in base of the machine. Unplug machine before working on the belts. Hank

The pan is stuck in my Sunbeam bread machine

I just had the same problem. What the manual either does not tell you or hides quite well is that you have to TWIST the pan before lifting it out. I don't know why this was listed under the Panasonic bread machine when it clearly refers to the Sunbeam bread machine.

Thermostat needs replaced

After removing the screws there are two plastic latches hidden on the inside of the plastic ring, with a flat headed screw driver tease these open. located on the inside of the ring and in the centre on both left and right sides.

Panasonic Bread Machine

I had a Panasonice bread machine before without a yeast dispenser. You just put the yeast at the bottom of the pan; put it in fiist to keep it away from the liquids Yeast then dry ingredients then liquids. Works fine.
