I have a brand new 525FA. I can try to take a pic of it tomorrow for you. I may have to call my mom to see what part you need a picture of cause I'm not familiar with sewing machine parts at all. But I'll check with her. Or maybe you can take a pick of what you need to see. Then I can look at it, and take a pic of the same thing on mine.

How do I rebuild the upper tension mechanism for a singer sewing machine model 507?

It's far too complicated to explain on here. You need to get a service manual for your model, or find one with a similar dial. Make sure the manual covers tension dials. Getting the spring wound correctly can be a challenge. Have you checked to see the if the presser foot lever is pressing against the tension dial from the inside of the machine?

How do I reassemble the tension wheel on my white sewing machine?

Go to Singerco.com click the Customer support button and click instruction manuals. White manuals are housed at Singer now. Be sure to enter your model number with a "W" before the number. Hopefully you'll see a picture that will give you a hint on how to reassemble.

How do i fix sewing machine tension?

#1 rule in dis-assembly of anything is to lay out the parts in the order they came off. I do this with a piece of tape turned sticky side up on my table. (for future reference)

As for your machine.. since you did not provide a model number the best I can offer is this parts page which has some diagrams under each model. Please locate model from the several pages listed... and view the diagrams.

I took my machine apart to correct a problem and I'm looking for help reassembling the machine. I really just need to know where the screws go.

depending on how far apart you took it you may need to take it to a service technician. if its only the cover plates the newer machines usually only have screw holes on the back of the machine and usually under the handle.

Pfaff 2020 Foot Pedal--taken apart; need help putting back tog.

Are you able to post a picture of what pieces you have? The contact board may not be pressed down all the way or the contact itself may be bent. You should be able to purchase both pieces if needed from a pfaff dealer.

There are pretty much only a couple of possibilities:

1) Sometime before this problem was discovered, someone took apart and incorrectly reassembled the machine's clucthing mechanism, or

2) You need more "elbow grease." In almost 30 years of sewing machine repairing, more often than not #2 is the answer.

Took apart tension button on sewing machine

This could be tricky, look on line for a diagram of a typical tension assembly. There aren't that many parts but they can be put on in the wrong order. There is probably a set screw somewhere that has vibrated loose, you need to tighten it after replacing the unit.

Tension

27 - Complete Tension Unit
28 - Setscrew TP 3 X 6
29 - Hexagonal socket screw 4 X 6

There is no exploded view for this component, so if you cannot confidently restore the unit, suggest seeing a technician, and the next time you take something apart, use a camera for reference, and lay components out carefully as they come apart.even write notes for yourself.

Hope this is helpful, it is the best image available in the Janome Manuals.
