For mine it's not just the home screen its everything that has any white in it. The pure black load screen and anything with dark colors is fine, but once white is introduced it looks horrible. It was working fine last week, I turned it on today, and BAM. Help please i don't want to have to send it in.

The Grayscale print option optimizes the look of color slides for printing on a black and white printer by adding shading. The Pure Black and White option prints your slides in monochrome.
Open the presentation you want to print.
Click on the word File in the Menu Bar.
Select the option Print.
The Print dialog will appear.

5.In the Color/Grayscale section, choose the Grayscale option to print in black, white, and shades of gray.
6.Choose the Pure Black and White option to print in black and white only.
7.Click on the OK button.
You need to change the CRT Fluid. This is a common problem on the older projection TV sets. You can get the fluid and instructions on how to change it from www.TvRepairKits.com.
Look in System Preferences for Universal Access, there is a Display option which says Black on White(the normal setting) and White on Black (the setting that has been enabled).
There is a keyboard short cut to change the setting, it involves pressing four keys - Apple, Option, ^ and 8.
