Open it up and take out the battery then put it in a plastic bag of dry rice seal it up. This works to dry the unit out. u may have to leave it in bag for a couple days. My son dropped my iphone in a sink of water and would not work I put it in rice for 3 days and now it works fine.

Why when pressing the on button the airco doesn't come on

Did you changed the batteries? 99% of the time the remote problems (not working) is due to dead batteries.
Assuming you have new batteries, does the remote gives you any codes or displays abnormally? If this is the case, you might need to replace your remote. You can buy a universal remote for A/C units, either through your HVAC Repair Company, or wherever they sell A/C parts.

I spilled coffee on the remote. Now it won't work

Open the remote control and clean it. Never insert batteries in this wet condition. It will make thing worse. If you wish to know more about how to clean a remote control, check this link.

Hi.... My Air conditioning remote control AR-DL1 doesn't seem to be working. It's been working on and off for a while, but now ....Nothing at all ( I changed the batteries also ) .Since I don't know if it's...

Remove batteries and keep for 5 minutes. And also remove DC wire plugged in display sensor in your indoor unit. Now, plug again DC wire in same position and also put batteries in remote. Power on and try now. In many units, this type of resetting would help. If still problem, check remote thr' camera mobile by pressing any button in remote. If ultra light flashes, remote is o.k.You have to repair/replace PCB only. If no ultra light, replace remote.Thanks.

DPAC 13009 portable air conditioning problem

Remove your remote control on the unit, follow the manual step by step. First, do the emergency on/off button, then operate the air conditioning using the remote control, follow the procedure of your manual. You may notice a clicking sound of your remote control. The yellow/green color of your emegency on/off button will turn to blue. Do not put it back your remote control on the unit because he may sense the temperature of the vent, and your air conditioning will not stay on, it will shut off every five minutes. Your problem is solve.
