Your post is rather general but is the middle light orange? If it is, go to your system summary page in the router (by typing and run the system set up wizard to reestablish a connection. Go through the whole wizard entering you password and log on information as needed.

Connected but cant get online

If you connect the computer to the router ,does it work ? If yes
That means the wired connection is OK.
Open the set up page of the router check the wireless settings of the router.
I think your network is secured and you are not typing the correct network key.
just open the router set up and check the wireless settings .

Sometimes cannot connect, sometimes losing internet connection.

Are you using a wireless router/access point or is this a wire connection?

If it is wireless, you might just need to relocate where your wireless router is located, many times building construction materials can create RFI and cause the signal to be weak and drop connections more often.

The other problem might be the fault of your ISP. If they are having equipment problems, they might actually have a router that is failing. If you are unsure of the connection to your network, simply contact your ISP and ask that they perform a signal check or to PING your router from their side and measure the signal strength and return rate on the signal.

The last possibility is that your network adapter in your computer might be having problems. There is one check that you can perform on your network adapter to verify that it is working properly. With out being connected to the Internet, open a DOS window (Command.exe). At the prompt enter the following command:

The computer will perform an internal loopback test. If it comes back OK, then most likely your network adapter is working fine.

If everything checks out, you might just have a bad router and will need to get it replaced. Hope this helps you out.

Losing connection from the router

You may have an IP address conflict with another machine. why don't you just plug the router into the computer to see if that solves your problem first. If it doesn't. you should contact your internet carrier. You can also try this: turn everything off, and unplug EVERYTHING for a few minutes. Plug the AC adapters back into the devices FIRST, then into the wall. this will often drain power and solve IP issues.

Wireless connection keeps falling

It may be just a problem of the signal bouncing around and your laptop is struggling at times to find the signal. Some earlier laptops don't have a wireless booster built in the screen. Go to your laptops' web site and see if there are any updated drivers for your wireless card. If still unhappy with results purchase a USB wireless dongle and dissable wireless card, it may have a better reception area, or purchase a signal booster that works in conjunction with your wireless router.
