Can't seem to get the software i have to recognize my phone? just want to get pictures off my phone onto my computer. the motorola mobile phone tools program i installed and updated keeps saying my phone isn't being detected? at least not the specific type. i think may be it's my dell laptop latitude c600...it has only one usb connection port and i'm thinking it's not a high-power port? my carrier is MetroPCS and i don't have internet access on my current plan. but would like to know how i can get the pictures on my phone...on to my computer...my pc doesn't seem to have bluetooth either. and yes i did turn the bluetooth on, on my phone. I also connected an external usb2connect card bus and tried connecting that way...but a similar thing happened but this time the program said there was no device modem? however i can't use my wireless internet card at the same time because although there are 2 card bus slots the usb2 is too big on bottom or top because of the usb connections i guess? regardless they will not fit or work at the same time, together. so what am i doing wrong? and how else can i attempt this?

This will require you to install a software called PC suite if your operating system does not recognizes your cell phone.. Normally you must download and install some type of software onto your computer first. That software should then recognize the phone when you connect it to your computer and allow you ot download your pictures. Either check your manufacturers website or call the support center for your cell carrier and ask them where to get your software.
I have 2 LG phones, a VU and a Globus, and the LG PC Suite doesn't work with either of them.
The best way to get music, ringtones and pictures on to your phone is simply insert a memory card, and then attach the phone to your pc using the LG data cable.
Your pc will recognize your memory card as a mass storage device, and you can drag and drop your files from the pc to the memory card.
Your razor phone will connect to your pc with updated software from motorola Don't worry it is free. after you download the software run the program then connect your phone with the phone powered off, then turn on your phones power, it takes a minuet for the phone to connect to the program then your computer should recognize the phone.
Uninstall all software drivers and programs you installed in your PC relating your phone and remove the "Motorola USB modem" from the device manager of the PC. Then download and install Motorola's "Mobile Phone Tools". Look in google for download links. And follow the instructions in the connection assistant.
