You say you did a reset, but did you press both the home button and the on/off button for more than 5 seconds, till the apple logo comes on?
If not, try that one. When that does not work, try a reset from he Apple page, or connect the iPod to iTunes and click restore (last backup) when you did not backup for a long time, you will lose all settings and scores you made since the last backup. Reset your iPod
Good morning...yesterday I dropped my Dell DJ...the music would play, but the screen went blank...nothing I tried worked...so I just let it play/run...then it came back on...so everything is fine now...thnak you
Typically this is an indication that your battery is dead. If the music is still playing but the screen is blank I would say a hardware failure and replacement would be the best option.
