The dual climate control is blowing very cold on the driver side vents and extremely hot(like the heater is on) through the passenger vents. is there something to do to check that unit without taking in or any suggestions.

Look under the dash and find the air ducts and put the air duct back on the ac housing that has fallen off and tape it with duct tape so it wont come off again.

2004 Chevy Tahoe: I changed A/C blend door actuator on passenger side and it's still blowing heat on my driver side?

Does the vehicle have dual zone climate control, where the driver side and passenger side have different control? Sounds like a blend door issue on the driver side. Why did you replace the passenger side, was it blowing hot too when AC was on?

Why does 1 side of dash blow hot and the other cold when ac is on with the dual climate control?

Check the actuator motor on the heater it directs the air into the vents. There is probably two of them be sure to check both. The motor makes the vents move and again directs the air where you want. Hope this helps.

The driver side vents are blowing hot air as if the heater is on but the thermostat is set on 65 and the passenger side is blowing cold air as it does normally.

Its called "AC Vent Door Actuator" when this fail they will stay open or Closed, this will happen on vehicles that have Dual Climate control. You can Google it just type Year, make ,model and AC vent door actuator after that. It will definetly have to be replaced. Good Luck.

2004 chevy tahoe, dual climate control, blowing different temps

Its more then likely the temp door broken or temp door motor broken/stuck. There is 2-3 of these motors under the dash on the side of the evap/heater core box. Some require extensive labor to replace, good luck

Passenger side blows hot air when front control set to Air

you cant adjust it ,this requires the dealers computer to re set it,or a phyiscal control has packed up like a vacumn pipe has split where it pushes onto the valve that controls the flap in the heater unit.

Dual Temperature controls inside - 2002 lincoln ls

The problem is most likely a bad dual climate control valve. This component is located on the right side near the radiator under the hood. It will have several coolant hoses hooked to it and 2 silver cylinders protruding from it. You can clamp off the heater hoses at the heater core and see if both sides cool then and this will tell you that the valve is letting coolant thru when it shouldn't be.

This will narrow it down to either the valve or the control head inside the car,or wiring in between them. The only way to narrow it down further is if you have a scan tool that could access the climate control data. Have seen several of these valves cause this concern and have only seen one control head cause it.

Only cold air on passenger side

I would assume with multiple people having the same problems, there should be a service bulletin on this issue. may want to call dealer with vin # to verify. sounds like a heater control issue under the dash. something i would leave to the experts for repair
