Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P52 Digital Camera
When you turn the mode switch it does not change and then sometimes it does. When I sprayed Blue Shower around the dial it improved. Would like to take dial off the top to get at contacts but do not know how

That doesnt sound good :( You said the dial seems stripped, did you force it at any time? Sounds like its time to pack it up and ship it off to sony. Good luck.

SOURCE: Flash problems
As you haven't said which shooting mode the problem occurs under (e.g. Auto, Scene etc) I can only suggest that you try different shooting modes to gain access to changing the Flash settings. Hope this helps.

You need a set of philips screw drivers size #0,#00 and #000. Buy parts camera with stuck out lens but good lcd from ebay. Then replace the lcd screen and the led back light assembly connected by flexible circuit and flip up connector.
