I bought an older Garland stove several years ago from a rural country restaurant that was going out of business. I'm trying to get it working and am having a difficult time finding the model number so I can buy the correct parts. It's steel construction, matte black, and has 6 gas burners and a stove. The back of the stove has a shelf running the 36" width I would guess for spices, etc. I've looked for a model number and serial number to no avail. How do I proceed from here?

Thrasher, Sorry I cant help with the diagram but one of your burner switches is grounding out. Each burner valve has a switch and one of them is finding it's way to ground, therefor the contstant clicking. Good luck on this deal...Catriver..post back.

Hi, you can call Garland Range at 1.800.424.2411, and talk to the parts department, or you can visit www.garland-group.com and in the top right corner is a "contacts" tab, and you can email them your request. Hope that helps.
SOURCE: Hello, Can't find model/serial number.
Serial number labels are usually located in any one of a number of places -
Under the cooktop in one of the corners
Inside the oven door frame (not on the door)
Behind the bottom drawer pullout on the oven, left hand side
Oven back.
If this unit is anything less than 20 years old, there will be a label somewhere.
Reply back you findings and I can give you more information as to how to repair, and we can identify part numbers. You might also try www.repairclinic.com and see if you can drill down through parts when only knowing the manufacturer.
