My experience with LG Dishwashers was so unpleasant that I swore I would NEVER own another LG product. LG sent a technician named "Anthony" who removed the machine and determined that there was a pinched tube. I find it hard to believe that a pinched tube would cause a sudden issue with water all over my kitchen floor. And then Anthony went under the sink, tampered with the water inlet valve and created a very small leak! Then Anthony surmised that the leak under my sink must have dripped down on to the line leading to the dishwasher, gone through the hole at the bottom of the cabinet and out and up into the dishwasher causing the bottom of the dishwasher to be completely rusted out. He then said that if it could be fixed it would cost a fortune but he wouldn't feel safe fixing it. I don't know about you, but if I heard a technician tell me that, I would consider the machine useless. It wasn't even 4 years old. The day before, the water guy had come out to replace the filter in the RO system we had under the sink. If there had been a leak, he would have seen it. I had also called Frys where I had bought the machine. The day after Anthony came, Two Frys technicians came out and immediately started examining under the sink. But there was just one problem; Anthony didn't do enough of a job to cause the leak to keep leaking. As the Frys techs pointed out, if there was a leak that had been running for as long as it would have had to have been leaking, the floor would have been soft and wet not dry and hard as they found it. And as far as the cabinet area where the dishwasher sat on untiled floor/bare wood? Dry as a bone. I have no idea what was going on inside of that machine, but when Anthony took it out he showed me - after taking off the base plate or whatever - that the bottom of the machine was completely rusted and trashed. LG refused to post my review but if your machine is not draining or is spilling water out onto your floor, there's a good chance the machine is rusted out. Unless you bought an extended warranty, LG will do nothing to help. Frys, on the other hand, went above and way beyond and despite my not buying an extended warranty - who expects a dishwasher to die in under 4 years? - gave me a very generous credit and allowed me to use it on a new machine (Whirlpool) and they met Best Buy's sale price. I had to pay to have it installed, but that was a lot less than having to buy a new machine would have cost had Frys not stepped up. I understand this problem is endemic to LG which doesn't stand for "Life's' Good" if you are the unfortunate owne of any model like this. Just so you know - from my own experience when I called around, no general appliance repair person is authorized to touch LG machines. Only LG can send a technician and that really surprised me. LG told me they could only offer a replacement if the machine was determined to be not fixable which, apparently, was not what Anthony said. Anthony said if it could be fixed, he wouldn't feel comfortable doing it. I guess in the translation is "Anthony would not fix it but that doesn't mean some other technician wouldn't. That said the machine could be fixed for a small fortune." I can't help you except suggest you pull the machine out to check for any crimped or pinched hoses and take off the base plate to see if the machine is rusted out. The only solution I can think of is start saving for a new machine and don't buy another LG. They're not customer-experience-driven and once it's sold, the service stops.

Head gaskets blown or cracked head. It only takes 1 time of running hot to cause damage as the heads are aluminum and the blocks is iron.

What is aquastop

I presume that when you say it wont stop running, it's the empty pump that is running. This is an anti flood protection. Water from a spill has got into the base of the machine and tripped the flood protection sensor. To cure the immediate problem, pull the machine out and tip it on it's side or back about 45 degrees and the water in the base will run out and the flood protection will reset. The real question is though, how did the water get INTO the base? Most common is that someone used household detergent instead of dishwasher powder or tabs and the foam it created worked its way into the base and then turned back to water as it settled. If this is the case, the tip sideways will be a permanent fix. If not, you will need to trace and cure the leak

Changed thermostst and heater hose, car ran fine but leaked on right side of engine (Freeze Plug) now car stopped running while driving and wont start

sounds like the frost plug(freeze plug)let go and needs to be replaced. may have overheated the motor and it stopped due to overheating, as you say it was running and then just stopped and won`t start. just so you know the right side of the motor is the side facing the radiator as the pulleys face the drivers side. this is how a tech differentiates left from right on a Honda. fill with the proper anti-freeze and water mixture. this is all the help I can give you with the information you have supplied.
