Old keyboard with the numbers th-0u0097-37171-561-0215 I got a new computer but the old keyboard is much more comfortable for my husbands big hands so would like to use it. Can't find the installation cd. Is there any way to install without it?

You should have got a install CD with the wireless keyboard and mouse, just pop the disk in the drive, run it and install the drivers, then connect the receiver to a USB port and let the system install the drivers, to connect them and make them work look for a small button under the keyboard and mouse and press them to connect.

The round purple connector is refered to as "PS/2" type connector. You can find an adapter that converts PS/2 to USB connector. The above link was just to show what I was refering to. Hope this helps.

try to delete the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, then search/create a new device and see if they are detected. if yes, just follow the instruction on installation. else, there could be a problem on either of them. hope this helps
