SOURCE: Polaroid DVD Player won't charge.

I had the same problem, which I attributed to having the plug in a power strip. Once I plugged it directly into the wall socket, I haven't had a problem since.

SOURCE: I lost the 9.5v adapter for my Polaroid PDM-1035

Go to Radio Shack or the like ANY DC 9.5/10 Volt adapter with suitable current rating, say 1 Amp at least should work, also note the Polarity of the Plug, usually though it is Positive to the centre connector but check the unit is usually printed by the power jack in. try to get a switch-mode if you can but a transformer type should work as well.
