I put headphones into my Acer 5520G and set them as default. When I went to change it to the internal HD speakers it said that no such device was intalled. They used to come up under Control Panel/Sound/Audio Devices but now there's only the headphones icon. I disabled the headphones thinking that the internal speakers would come on but instead I now have no audio devices installed. Now I can't seem to work out how to restore my internal speakers. When I click on the speaker icon on the right hand of the Start bar it says there is no device installed on the machine. Please help - I've lost my speakers!! Thanks.

Tips: Enjoy PDF ebooks on iPad, iPhone for (Mac/Windows) users

eBook Readers make reading experience more pleasant. Hold eBook device like a book, for it carries as many of desirable content at your fingertips. In addition, it can also allow you to take notes, highlight message and easily access to the passages you need.

Both PDF and ePub are two of the most popular eBooks formats. Each of them has its own characteristics. Such as eBooks in PDF format can support Book-marking, however, ePub eBooks can't do that. ePub-formatted eBooks can be optimally viewed by the eBook devices, for ePub is specially designed for reflowable content. Whereas, the PDF format doesn't have the feature. Different eBooks applications have their preferred eBook format. For example, Apple iBooks app uses ePub format as eBook format.

PDF to ePub Converter is specially designed for eBook enthusiasts to convert PDF to ePub for perfect compatibility with their eBook devices, such as iPad, iPhone 4, iPod Touch, etc.

I can't hear the singers voice, the music sounds ok almost like it's in a tunnel or something. I tried different head phones, files, formating, samsung website/settings and cleaning. none of that worked.

Might have been difficult to explain to someone else but I had a same experience: 'sound in a tunnel', no voice and clear music. But I should add the disclaimer that while attempting to repair it you can damage it if you have no experience in repair.

Better consult a service center if you are not comfortable with the repair. The electronics involved are miniature and require precision soldering under a convex lens/microscope. To confirm the cause try 'wiggling' the jack a little bit and see if the sound improves. Note that wiggling will not help if the connector is broken from inside.

Unable to format, partition, ins. os and boot my toshiba TE2100..

The CMOS needs to be set to first read the CD or DVD drive before it reads the Hard drive. Once your XP disk is in the drive it will boot from the CD drive and setup the computer, The CMOS is acessed by turning on the computer and immediatly pressing either the deleat key or the F! or F2 key try each one till you get to CMOS then look for boot section. Set CD drive to first your HD drive to second.
