Which o/s as not mentioned by you if 32 bit or 64 bit version guessing 64 bit version on link above as there was a windows 10 32 bit version available also

If you're using Windows 7, check if it's running on 32-bit or 64-bit operating system. On your computer, go to Start menu > right-click on Computer > Properties. Take note of the System Type.

You may find that Win7 does not support your older Lexmark. Error code 10 is caused by an unrecognized driver or the wrong type.
Check with Lexmark and see if they hold a Win7 driver. Ensure you choose either 32 or 64bit!

it is a known issue.  Try cleaning the contacts with alcohol and qtips on both the printer and the printer cartridge.  If that doesn't work, it may be a faulty ink cartridge or a faulty carrier.

Firstly, switch on the printer without a cartridge inside. Put in the old cartridge and if you get the Error 32, it could be poor contact. Clean the contacts in the printer (contact with the chip on the cartridge). If you don't get Error 32, there could be a problem with the chip contacts on the new OEM Lexmark cartridge or a faulty chip. As for other brands or remanufactured cartridges, it could be compatible parts they used. The chip and toner wheel have to be compatible.

Are you running Vista 32 bit or 64-Bit?

Please install the printer first before plugin to PC and then try.

well I have had the same thing happen.on the left only use 31[photo]; 32; 34....on the right33; 35..left takes black or 31 photo....right color cartridge only
