SOURCE: New Kitchenaid stove used 1st time turned oven off now beeping

Hello! Yes, I did figure out the beeping...while on a long hold with the kitchenaid helpline, I took the "cookie sheets off of the top of the stove" and voila the beeping stopped. Simple, but who knew? I hope this helps someone else.

SOURCE: The Oven light wont turn off!

The button that depresses when the oven door is closed is probably stuck in the (IN) POSITION. spray some WD 40 on the switch if you can find it. It should be somewhere around the door jam..

SOURCE: Kitchenaid Superba Gas Range - Oven temperature problem

The problem is: the temp seems to be 'stuck' at 260 and will not allow any higher settings.

Calling KitchenAid proved to be unuseful. The manual did not have this item in the troubleshooting pages. Resetting the power does not help.

The SOLUTION:
There is really no problem besides that the temp display setting has been somehow set to be celsius (metric system) rather than farhenheit (english system). Changing this setting somehow can be easily touched off without knowing, thus the "I didn't do anything and yesterday it was working fine..." comment from family members.

The FIX:
Reset the temp display back to farhenheit (F). This is done by opening the oven door, then hold down the 'Broil' button until you hear a beep from the control panel. The same method may be used to change from Farhenheit back to Celsius.

Prevention:
I speculate the inavertent change of the temp setting is done while cleaning the flat control panel. So the best thing to do is to always 'LOCK' the control panel when cleaning the controls. This is done by holding down the keypad "3/lock" for a few seconds until the display shows LOCK.

(The solution was already posted when I arrived at this page. I just organized it a bit by adding some details and a preventative comment. Many thanks to those who posted earlier, solving my issue as well. I hope my writing presents a clearer and quicker read to the next person)

SOURCE: Kitchenaid gas range keeps beeping intermittantly,

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2-E1 in your Kitchen Aid range indicates shorted keypad. To resolve this issue you’ll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced however, if the rating is fine then it is the Electronic Range Control (ERC) that has gone bad & should be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

KitchenAid Electric Range Model KESA907PSS02 surface elements and oven all stopped producing heat after initially being 'on'

You might have blown the thermal fuse. Here is a diagram of your unit.
The fuse is number 37 on the diagram. Check it for continuity. Here is the part to order in case it is bad.
Keep me posted.

Oven lite won't go off and when turn on self cleaning it says door

The door switch has gone bad. This will keep the oven light on and the self clean won't work because it thinks the door is open.

I have a KitchenAid Architect KESC308LSS Electric Range and the stove top works fine but the oven is no longer getting hot.

After having checked the fuses, it would most likely be the oven switch because it is unlikely that both elements would go at the same time. Mane sure that the main switch is off when removing fuses to check them!

Were is the fuses on the stove

pull out the range turn off power at the breaker or unplug the range if possible. in the back there is a panel you need to remove there is a thermal/fuse. remove it and if you have a continuity tester or can borrow one. test to see if the fuse is good. if it is not replace it. once replaced you can repower it back up. good luck!

LED display not working

Did somebody use the control lock by accident. Here is how to disable it. Hopefully it will work: The Control Lock feature shuts down the control panel pads to avoid unintended use of the oven. The Control Lock feature may be used either when the range is in use or turned off (for example, during cleaning). To lock/unlock control: Before locking, make sure the oven, the timer, and Timed Cooking are off. Press and hold the START pad for 5 seconds until ?CONTROL LOCK? appears on the display. Repeat to unlock, and ?CONTROL LOCK? will disappear from the display. Hope this helps Jason
