Printing 11x14 photos

How can I print photo out to 11x14. I dont' care if it takes two 8x10 pages. I could do this with my old HP but can't with my Epson. Even if I customize the settings.

I understand what you are asking. One printer could, my new one can't. I would ask why you would want to print a photo to a non-photo paper size. I print a lot. Ergo, I buy a printer for as large as I sell 13 by 19. My clients love this size. It is like printing money. If you are going to print it once, I would suggest a web service. You cane utilize websites like Zenfolio or the like and create an album of prints to purchase and have them printed from the service. If HP did this, it was software driven. I am fairly familiar with OS dialogs and don't recall this setting. Again the print won't look good as it is regular paper.

First use a photo processing programme (like say Photoshop or PS Elements - or if you have not got that (can be expensive) get the free Faststone Image Viewer and size the image to twice the paper size you want, then use the crop tool to select half the image and save that as a file with a name where you can find it again. Do the same with the other half. You will now have two files, each half of the paper size. As they will have small borders, print and trim the borders, so you can then mount side by side to achieve what you want. I would advise to NOT try and print without borders - that can introduce other problems - just accept having to trim the small borders from normal printing.

Joy:
Once more have the printer to perform the ink nozzles cleaning.
If you are using a ontinuos ink system, place it at the same level than that of the printer.
With the printer in the "replace carrtidge position", put it OFF and by hand, clean the place at which the cartridge rest.
Good luck and merry christmas

SOURCE: banding which not even slowing down the printing or changing from photo to fine photo will correct

Possible printhead issue.
Reseat the cartridges. Make sure that you are using epson genuine cartridges.
Clean the printhead if the nozzle check pattern has gaps, breaks or missing colors.

If you mean for one ink module, that will completly depend on the different types of pictures.... I have the same problem with my Epson T10. All the papers on the feeder will feed altogether even I am just printing a page. Some technician told me that my printer needs to be aligned on the feeder mechanical part.

In the middle of printing out 8x10 photos, it stopped picking up the photo paper. Makes a grinding sound twice, then beeps error.

Hello Lynell,
Unfortunately, printers only last for about 3 years or up to 5 years if it's a more expensive model. Try a Google search or YouTube search for DIY repairs on the model you own. You may find some helpful information on how to repair your printer. Or, it may be time to get a new one. If that's the case, see if Best Buy will give you a trade in price on something new. Best of luck!

Will the hp photosmart printer use 8x10 photo paper?

You will have to check the equipment driver itself. While attempting to print, try changing the page size (go to page setup). This will give you an idea.

I need to change my dpi to 96 but don't know how.

DPI (Dots Per Inch) is an output specification, used when printing photos. As such, it has no meaning to the camera when taking photos. You can make 4x6 and 8x10 prints of the same photo and they'll have different DPI settings even though they're exactly the same photo.

The camera provides no means for setting arbitrary DPI settings. You set it when making a print. In addition, many photo editing program will give you a means of setting the DPI value without having to print.

I can't get my X5070 printer to print normal size photos. It will print 8X10 but not the 4x6 size photo.

Have you correctly set the page size to 4 X 6?

Are you using the printer in stand-alone mode or are you printing from an application?

Cannot print 11x14 paper on my Canon Pro9000 printer.

The printing software you are using should have that size for you, I use photo gallery, after you select the image the pop-ups should be your printing software with the paper size choices.

HP Photosmart 7550 - Full Page Photo Printing Jams at end

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Load a single 8x10 page and press Copy + Cancel until the printer feeds the paper. It will spit it out blank. Try printing another photo. Make sure Kodak logo faces up when you load it
