GM - Cars and Trucks with duel zone climate control

Most GM vehicles with separate driver side and passenger side heat and air conditioning can have problems with having heat on one side and cold on the other . The dealer has a computer that can calibrate these systems when the mess up to determine if it has a bad accuator or it's just lost memory. I worked for GM and read thru a test manuel and found that you don't have to have the computer to reset or test this system. If you disconnect the battery for 10 minutes then hook the battery back up , start the vehicle turn the fan switch to medium , do not touch any other part of the system , the climate control will go into a self calibration mode, wait untill it goes thru this self test mode, aproximately 2 to 3 minutes .During this mode you will feel and hear the accuators moving thru their ranges. After they stop changing postions now set your desired temperature for both sides if their is no hard faults (failed parts) the system will resume normal operation . If one or the other still does not blow the correct temperature replace that sides temp accuator repeat the self test mode and you should be fixed. This is a quick and easy way to test your own climate system with out paying the dealer their 100 dollar computer diagnostic fee.

What causes the windshield wipers and the center locking system to stop work at the same time in a 2004 range rover

These tow accessories are controlled by a centralized electronic module referred to as the BCM (body control module), it has self test capabilities and it can run a self test of its functions and report in the form of codes what problems it sees during its own test. You need a special scanner to tap into the test mode, so the dealer needs to do the test. It of course is best if the problem is occurring when the dealer testes the system or you will get it back with a note of NPF, no problem found.

My Escape Radio, CD, and Aux input will not work. My temp gauge works, but all music controls do not, except for the load and eject buttons for the CD player. I replaced three fuses that according to my...

Which three fuse's did you replace ? You should check for B+ voltage on both side's of the fuse . Two little metal tabs on top of the fuse. Voltage on both , fuse is good .
Try radio self-diagnostic mode .
A fluctuating AC voltage audio signal is sent to the speakers directly from the audio unit to reproduce sound. The audio unit has a self-diagnostic mode that can be entered by pressing preset buttons 3 and 6 simultaneously.

Verifone 250 printing letters and numbers will not stop

The letters and number it is printing is the self test print mode. Normally to run the self test you would turn the printer off, then hold down the feed button, then while holding the feed button, turn the power back on. It sounds like your feed button may be stuck.
