SOURCE: My RTI T1-B remote suddenly

Hello
It will be an internal contact problem. To rectify it you have to open your remote control and clean it well with. there may a seating screw in some type of RTI remotes, can be seen inside its battery compartment. Unscrew it out and just slide out the top and botton cover portion of you remote contro with some sharp instrument, and can be slide it apart. Be carefull without breaking it. there are four inside locks at its side lenghtwise, should be located and press that portion insde to get it apart. Inside you can see an IC with three of four components, Since your remote does works for all other functions except volume and channel, the possibility is there is some trouble in thae track or contact. Clean it well with a cotton cloth dipped in rectified sprit or medical quality turpentine. Rub well to release any dirt or dust on the print side of the pirinted board inside, to which the rubber touch pad comes in contact with. [NEVER use petrol or such hard solvents] as thay harm the rubber parts and plastic parts. Reset the remote control, and reprogramme it according to its manual as you did before. Till it finds to be non functional, with respect to voluem and channel selection, it may be ither Ic trouble or track trouble. Both are irrepairable in case of any remote controls. OK.

I have a Behringer 1002 mixer. Applying 0 dBu unbalanced to the input I need the -10/+4 control in its most sensitive position to acheive 0 db out with the main output control set at 0 dB. Is this cor

Depends on the input you are using. First you need to calibrate signal coming in with the Gain attenuation knob. Setting this prior to adjusting your channel output volume should calibrate the signal so when the channel volume knob is set to 0 and the Main volume is set to 0, the meters should indicate a true 0 reading. Not setting the Gain correctly will affect this. On the 1/4" channel inputs, you have less adjustment and may have to adjust the item you are plugging in from its source. If you are having issues with high gain, chances are it could be a cable issue, or something from the source itself.

We have the stereo hooked up to the dynex 42'' tv, as we did our other tv, we can not mute the complete sound and also sometimes we cant turn the volume up and down whats going on?

Since you have it hooked up to the stereo system, you need to go to on screen audio set up and turn off the TV built-in speakers (you will be listening the TV sound through your stereo system speakers), then go to the audio output set up and set it to 'variable' so the audio output of the TV's RCA audio out put will vary with the volume control of the TV (not all TV will alow this function), you will need to set the stereo volume to certain level (around 9~10 O'clock setting) since the sound coming from the TV will be controlled by the TV remote volume control. You can otherwise set the TV output to be at 'fixed' level, which means the sound output of the TV will not be controlled by the TV remote volume control, you will use the stereo remote volume control to adjust the sound level instead. I hope this is clear to you.

Sharp Aquos LC46lE700UN How do I adjust the audio. Manual says that the Output Select to Fixed, but it still does not allow me to adjust the audio

If the RCA audio out put is set to 'FIXED' it means the signal at the RCA jacks will not be controlled by the Volume control of the TV, but the TV speakers will still be controlled by the TV volume control, if you want to make the RCA AUDIO out to be adjustable by the TV volume control, you will have to set it to 'VARIABLE'.

I have a chunghop universal remote, RM-133E and i need the 3 digit code for an LG tv please. Thanx.

I could not find the code, but here is a solution that should work. Please give me good rating

1. Manually switch on the TV set, and aim the remote control at the TV set, as shown in the figure:

2. Hold the "SET" key until the indicator light illuminates.

3. Repeat to press the "VOLUME +" key and see whether a volume symbol appears on the TV screen.

4. Upon appearance of the volume symbol, press the "SET" key immediately, and then the
indicator light goes out.Setting is finished.

5. Test whether the keys on the remote control function well; If keying does not work, reset from Step 2.

Menu will not display

If the channel and volume visual display was not set up on the menu to display on screen , neither will show up even if either the remote or set front button are used. Make sure that the tv button is selected on the remote to access the menu .If that does not work ,then either the batteries are dead or the remote is dead.If it is you will need a new remote, sadly. Then you can press the m button , select sound and then select "display volume" and check "during adjustment". The channel display settings are found on "features" from the main menu. Hope this helps.
