The paper feed solenoid is sticking. There is a foam material that deteriates over time and becomes sticky. I remove what's left and put masking tape in its place.

It prints in the color black. What color do you want it to print?
If you can figure out a way to make a 4200 print text in any color but black, you will be an instant millionaire.

It appears that the printer is having problems reading the e-label on the print cartridge. Remove and reinstall the print cartridge, then press the Select button. That should clear the problem.

Hi , I need to know why do you require Jet direct . if its for admin then you can use jetadmin.

Remove the rear door by pulling it down and squeezing the left tab to remove it.

Press the blue hooks and remove the fuser. Look for a worn coating on the gray roller.

Are there settings on the control panel of your printer?
Is the tray 1 the MP tray? (The one that flips towards you)
If so, can you change the settings of the Tray 1 to Envelope on the control panel?
