I am an insurance assessor doing a claim for a panasonic digital camera which was stolen. The cleint does not have the model number of the camera. All I have is a serial number which is WA33303070. Please could you tell me what model camera this refers to
Ask the person to visit the shop from where he bought the didi cam and tell the serial number...only they can tell as they have too keep recrd for legal reasons as the digi cam must have been discontinued by the manufacturer.

I suspect that water has damaged the electronics board in the camera. Unfortunately this is not a waterproof camera. Water will corrode the electronic components and eventually ruin the whole camera, My suggestion is to claim it on insurance as they wilol repair or replace it on Home insurance. No one puts a camera in water intentionally unless its an underwater camea, so its considered an accident

Hey maddie13, Unfortunately the 2yr replacement plan you purchased does not cover cameras that are stolen, but what usually does is homeowners insurance, or rental insurance, or car insurance if it was in your car at the time. Just so you know you can return your replacement plan for a prorated refund. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
