Run SP7-804-9 If you don't know how, or what that is, then you'd better call a service depot. I will not post or discuss service mode procedures with end users, because you can create a great deal of problems if you're unsure what you are doing. (No offence)

It is a fuser oil cartridge. When you replace it the counter gets reset automatically. It is located on top of the fuser unit. This is the part that gets hot and is located right where the paper exits the printer. It is accessed from the left side upper doors. Here is a link to a site that sells the unit as well as all the parts and supplies for your printer. The top picture on this link is the fuser oil cartridge so you can see what it looks like which will assist you in locating the unit in your printer.
Installation instructions are included in the box with the new oil cartridge. http://www.precisionroller.com/search.php?q=cl7000+fuser+oil
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

These machines use oil supply units located on top of the fuser unit. They are not refillable order another and replace... continueing to run this machine without fuser oil will cause the fuser to fail and copies to look terrible
Looks like you need to replace your fuser oil unit (the oil is used to lightly coat the fuser to prevent paper sticking). This is just a simple part swap out, not much harder than loading the printer with paper, full instructions are in the manual (see link) and a the units themself are readily available, if you dont know your local supplier google will return dozens of online merchants
You don't. The Type 7000G Maintenence Kit is the self contained oiler unit, rated for approximately 30,000 prints on 8 1/2" x 11" stock. If a person were to try to "top off" the oil, where would said person locate the correct type of fuser oil. Not all fuser oil is the same, viscousity wise as well as chemical composition. What an expensive mess.
Yes, 50.1 refers to the fuser, and that is very easily replaceable. (no tools) However, in the 8100, you have a 75% chance that it is indeed the low volt power supply. The low volt power supply powers the fuser.
As a service approach, I always replace the fuser first because it is so easy to do and we always have them in stock.
If that does NOT clear the error, then we KNOW it is the low volt power supply. That is a very straightforward repair.
you really can not refill the bottle but I would recommend two things. One find a fuser oil unit on ebay and order it quickly. Next hit the yellow clear modes button, then hit the numbers 1 0 7 , then hold the red clear stop button till the display panel changes. hit copy sp, select 7 data log. now use the page down arrows located in the middle of the disply till you see 7804 push it then go to #10 oil supply and hit execute. this will reset the oil counter and allow you to use the machine till you get the new unit.
You NEED to REPLACE the black development unit with a BRAND NEW item......these things are chipped so it won't accept previously installed units. If the problem still exists try a new PCU (toner cartridge).
