Yes very common, have you hit a rock as some stage or maybe it is wearing out but as soon as some pressure goes on the prop the shaft will spin normally but the prop is now no longer held to the shaft correctly hence your problem. Check it by marking the prop and shaft with a straight line then put it in the water, take out and check your mark they probably wont line up anymore. Solution...get a new prop. I have a different way to get these fixed but it is not recommended I drill a self tapping screw into my props just until it hits the drive shaft then stop just enough pressure to keep to stuck to the drive shaft

Trolling motor...prop turns on land fast but very slow in water...fix?

Water has much more resistance than air, therefore slower prop speed. Are you sure there is a problem? Or possibly if their is a problem, weak battery, or corrosion. Clean battery terminals first, then try in water.

During spin cycle the drum fills with water and spinning slows or stops completely. I will then switch machine off and on again. Then it drains only for a little while b4 above start again. Plz help

Hi

Do u drain it 1st before u switch it off? If u just keep switching it off and on again there will be more water than usual which will probably slow the spinning down.

Drain the machine

Remove or open the vent at the bottom of the machine
Get a towel and a large baking tray or something similar

Place the towel underneath the vent and the tray to catch the water
Turn the filter slowly until u see water coming out, when the water slows down pull the filter out.
Clean out whatever is in there and replace the filter

see if this works?

sounds like you have a clutch and lining problem sometimes this can also be a bad transmission...

this can be a exstensive repair first things first your gonna need a speciallty tool called a spanner wrench.. appliance parts distributor. you need this to remove the tub nut from the inner tub to the transmission... if you want full details please email me at [email protected]

Prop not turning

if the prop spins out of the water but not in
it could just be a bad hub inside the prop

Washer will not spin properly

Try this:
The filter on your pump is probably clogged with lint and stuff. You have to remove the bottom front panel, 3 torx screws underneath. The panel will drop and come off. Drain off the excess water from the drain pipe you see. The white filter cover is right in front. Get yourself a good plastic bag to collect water. Unscrew the filter cover and twist the filter out. Clean out all the stuff and put it back in carefully. Check your pump too.

Washer spins but too slow

Clean out the drain pump. Sounds like water is pumping out too slow. This added weight is slowing down the spin.
If water is pumping out OK and you still have the same problem, replace the drive belt.
