Mitsubishi 1080 hd series 65" Curved picture

T.V. picture is curved. I have to align the color to be curved too because since the picture is curved it throws off the color. I spend an hour adjusting the color to the curves on the t.v. how do I fix this?

The problem is the convergence circuit.
Mitsubishi used two different types of convergence IC's in this series. The first is a pair of STK-392-570, the second is a single STK393-110. The only way to fix the problem is to replace the appropriate IC'S. In some cases the problem may appear to be intermitent or loose solder connections. Save yourself the anguish and replace the IC'S.
Getting the PowerSupply/ Convergence board
out to do this is tricky and I recommend a professional to do it. Hidden screws on the front of the heat-sink make it difficult to take out and you can break the board easily trying to force it.

Hi!

Check your power amp circuit. Or, check if it is feed by the power supply circuit. Good luck,

MITSUBISHI HD 1080 series

most likely the convergence Ics have failed. Check F9a04 and F9A05 pico fuses if they are blown you will need to replace them and the convergence Ics.They are located on the center board they are green and look like resistors without the color band. see the photoa193b32.jpg82b89b8.jpg
