The problem is not mentioned exactly . By the way you can check the out put voltage +48 v DC at the output cable which is connected to logic board . If it is not there , check fuse 3.15 AMP , thermistor , IRF 840 , if u r technical and knows how to repair .

Yes you did something wrong. You pulled out a board not knowing what board you pulled out. HP printers don't have "mother boards". I am guessing that you removed the formatter(left rear on the printer).
Hopefully you had power off and you grounded yourself.
Since it isn't working now, power down and remove that board again and slide it back in to reseat it. Make sure that it slides in correctly. Screw it in and power up.
The green lights where the network cable plugs in should be blinking if you can get it to initialize.
Hopefully, the board didn't blow and it works now.

Canon mp530 error 6500

The 6500 error code is a logic board error code. The PCI Bus error is detected by the ASCI. Sounds like it needs new logic board. Solution is first of all you can try to reset your printer -

  • Turn the printer off with the Power button (if available).
  • Disconnect the data cable from the printer.
  • Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes, and then plug it back in.
  • Turn the printer back on. If this works you're done,
If it not works then try following

  • After confirming that the printer is powered on, open the paper output tray.
  • Open the top cover and wait until the print head moves to the center.
  • Open the inner cover and check that ink tanks are properly seated.
  • Properly seated
  • Press down on each ink tank until a click is heard.
  • Close the inner cover and top cover

if reset method not works for you then you go for the new logic board replacement
Best of luck

Printer working one minute and stopped working does not come on, I unpluged power cord and pluged it back in does not come on. Just stopped working in the middle of print job. printer que says printer off...

Open up the printer and remove the paper that was being printed on. Now remove the ink cartridges and the printhead. Try powering on the printer now. If nothing then put in the printhead and try powering on the printer. If your still getting nothing then you might have a bad DC Board or a bad logic board. If nothing happens go to canons website and call them to find the nearest repair center.

Best of luck...

Hi i changed colour cartridge tried trial run printer died; changed fuse in plug; still no power any suggestions please

in the printer there is a power supply board.there is a same type of 3amp fuse on the power supply board.if there is any kind of overheating in the power then the fuse in the plug and fuse on the power supply board blows out.in some cases only fuse on power supply board blows out.this fuse is placed on the board for safety reasons.because in the older model printers when this short circuit problem was happening at that time whole board used to blow out.so in the new model of printer a fuse is placed on the board ,so if any overheating or any power outage or any short circuit occurs.the fuse blows out instead of whole power supply board. You just need to replace the fuse on the power supply board by disassembling the printer.the power supply board is the green color square shaped board.its the board to which your power wire of printer is connected. the fuse is available at any local electric hardware shop.its not any special kind of fuse. This will help. Thanks please keep updated. please please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

Canon imageRUNNER C2058 color network printer board-B1 only. Upon power up the display screen indicates "Wait...".

The printer Board B1: you must shut it down by hitting the Options button and then selecting Function >Shut down > Shut down sytem>OK. Then power the machine off with the main switch. If the Customer has not been shutting off the machine properly and you get the please wait message you might try reloading system software first before replacing the hard drive.
Or = remove and reseat the printer board, if that doesn't work then you'll have to reformat the HDD unit and reload system software from a laptop. If the problem remains, the printer board may need to be replaced.

The Color Network Printer Board -B1 has a shut down function. It is for preventing corruption of the HDD. Be sure to turn off the main power switch after performing shutdown.
To properly shut down the Color Network Printer Board -B1:
1. Press the Option key on the control panel if the copier is in copier mode.
2. Make sure that the LCD reads Idle.
3. Select Functions on the LCD.
4. Select Shut Down from the Functions screen.
5. Select Shut Down System from the Shut Down screen.
6. The message 'It is now safe to power off the system' appears on the screen.
7. Power off the main power switch located on the lower right side of the copier.
* Note- After powering off the copier, wait at least five seconds before powering the copier back on.

Lexmark X6170 All in One Printer

So many things this could be. I would try the basics first. Turn it off, unplug it, see if it resets itself. Is the power supply it is plugged itno ok? You can test this by trying thr printer from another socket. Power boards are notorious for shorting out with lots of equipment attached. If it is plugged into a powere board try resetting the boards switch too (make sure all is unplugged first!!! Next if no good i would try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. If you do not know how to do this let me know and i will talk you throught this. This corrects alot of issues. WE can explore other issues if these things do not work. I am hoping it is not the power supply that has died on thr printer.

Printer not taking power.

since a local service has told u n u still want yr printer working i'll advice u to take it to some other service centre to look into it.

but the usual problem with yr model of printer not powering on normally is a s a result of the logic board being bad. once the logic board is being replaced yr printer should come up..

but be very sure yr problem is not from the adaptor that is i hope u have checked it and is working very well.
thank u
