I have a Packard Bell desk top PC In 2006 I Installed windows vista I noticed I needed a 512 ram as I had 256.I bought a 512 ram I knew were to install It ,I took the 256 ram out and carefully put In...

You put in the wrong type of memory. Put the old 256 back in the computer should power on with no beep code(or all good beep). If this is correct make sure to obtain the same type of memory as the 256. Also both slots must have the same RAM. You cannot have a 128 with a 512. They should both be either 128 or 512.
If you are using Vista you should have a minimum of 1g RAM.

I have A30 8199 with initial 2 ram card of 256 for total of 512 meg. I purchased 2 new cards of 512 each for total or 1Gig. I am on Win XP home and have all updates to XP with Bios of 5/10/05. When I...

Looking over at crucial.com it says that your A30 can use PC2700 and PC3200 DDR. Maybe go other there and see if your new ram matches what they sell. I know it's not much but maybe a start.

Hello Sir, I had 512 MB 533 MHz DDR2 RAM(Dynet). Now I have bought 1 GB 667 MHz DDR2 RAM(Dynet). My system has 2 slots. In one slot, I have 512 MB RAM and in another slot, I installed 1 GB RAM that I have...

The Intel D102GGC2 uses a Dual Channel Memory Architecture meaning that both slots need to be running at the same speeds. I would suggest getting another 667 MHz RAM card and installing it along side your current one, just as I reminder this motherboard only supports 2GB RAM Max so don't get one that is above 1GB.

Hello i can't install a AGP 512 videocart I bought

your computer needs more than the video card ram amount to use a particular video card. if you do not have at least 512mb of system ram, that may be your problem. if you have sufficient ram, then you do not have a powerful enough power supply for the new card.

I have installed 1 GB + 512 MB DDR II RAM, but it read only 1G I have just bought the Corsair 1GB RAM (DDR II 667 MHz, 6400), and installed it in the slot 1 of my motherboard, but it only read as 512 MB. (...

Nowadays, motherboards supports only a selected number of RAMs. You have to read the manual and select from the given models. I am not talking about DDR2 or 667MHz. The manual will state the manufacturer (ex. Kingston) model no (KVR667XXXXXX) etc. Only those stated in the manual will work correctly with your motherboard.
