Question about Bose Wave Radio
Worked one day ,then a number 4 showed on the screen,I unplugged the unit to possibly reset. I plugged it back in and all settings showed on the screen.Pre sets, alarm, etc.,real dim. I unplugged it for more than 1 hr. When I repluged the unit nothing happened.Like it's not plugged in.

My AWR1-1W stopped working. It would power up, but do nothing except occasional static. I was able to set the clock. The clock did work, but that's all. I know Bose products are high quality, so I was not ready to give up on my radio. I spent ages trying to find a fix online. I finally stumbled on something pertaining to another radio that gave me a clue. I opened the battery backup on the bottom and inserted 3 new AA batteries. The radio is now playing like new. I dont know why that would affect a radio plugged into an outlet, but it fixed mine! Good luck!
