The cruzer glide 32g plays when inserted in a different TV. This TV doesn't have video in the input list but online Manuel says it supports playing mp3 and AVI movies. How do I play them? I tried the photo input option but it showed a $recycle folder inside USB folder which wouldn't open and doesn't actually exist on thumb drive.
Having different televisions in the house and wishing to view on a usb stick a film from your PC. Easiest method. Put program video converter of choice into you Pc. i am using Bigasoft MP4 Converter.V.3. within my PC, find a video from a film which has a sample film and copy to desktop. you then make a folder on your desktop naming it converted films. Start up the converter for films and then see where the dropdown link is for the format. this should show several formats to change the sample film to. start at the top format and highlight into bracket. then set the output folder in the converter to marrow with the folder on the desktop. when done, convert to this folder on desktop. now do the same, keeping the same sample film in the converter but change to the next format then convert it to the same folder. when all the formats have been used in the converter, leave the converter on the desktop and open the folder you made firstly on the desktop. in this you should have a bunch of sample films with different formats. put your 32gb usb stick into the pc and open the folder. copy and paste all the sample films you have made to the usb stick/close down the usb stick/then take to tv and plug it in. go through each sample, which i found some not to work/ not show the sample/no sound but video then both sound and video. note wich one it is and convert another sample to desktop on this format only. recheck with the tv that this is the one that works and should be the same checklist for all tv's that play films from the usb.
Notes:
ā¢ It does not support "NTFS" and the maximum file size of a single file is 4GB.
ā¢ Progressive format jpeg files are not supported.
ā¢ Due to the compatibility limitation, not all of USB devices are able to be
displayed properly.
ā¢ Operation using USB hubs is not guaranteed.
ā¢ Due to the compatibility limitation, not all of external hard disks are able to be
detected correctly.
ā¢ Cables used to prolong the USB device must be certified as USB 2.0.
ā¢ In USB devices, video files may not be played properly if speed is not enough.

I Believe You Can Go To Channel 2 And Right Below Those Channels Are The 3 Video Channels Turn On Your Dvd Player And Go Through Them. If That Doesn't Work Try Looking At The Buttons On Your Tv For A Tv Video. Make Sure You Dont Have A Tv Video Button On Your Remote If You Do Then Just Click It Till You Find The Appropriate Video Channel.

pq2000 does not have a movies option for USA, the pq3000 does. I also have the 2000..
SOURCE: I plug in the USB
First, try using a different USB stick. If that doesn't fix the problem then your new tv is either faulty or the tv operating system has a bug.
Check the LG website in your country to see whether there are any firmware updates available. If not, then return the tv for refund or exchange, but make sure to try your USB drive on any replacement set in store as it's highly likely to be a bug in your model which will affect all of the other examples as well.

You have not mentioned the TV model #.. If your TV does not play avi. files I am sorry to tell you it does not support moving pictures -- it only supports MP3 music files and JPEG picture files !!. Try these two to confirm.
