The bobbin case went ajar while sewing blue jean fabric. I cant figure out to put it back in. Your help is very much appreciated :

Hi Debbie,
This type bobbin case can be a pain to get back in. On photo #1, at the top left you see a silver piece (circled in red) with a rectangular hole in it (circled in green)...take a flat head screw driver and insert it into the slot then twist to the right so the little bar/flange (circled in blue) will twist to the left past the bobbin well wall (marked in neon green). Photo #2 Now the bar/flange (marked in blue) should be on top of the bobbin well wall (marked in neon green). Now set the bobbin case in the bobbin well (marked in pink). Photo #3 as you set the black bobbin case in, kind of angle the flat part that is marked by the orange X so that it will begin to underneath the bar/flange with large orange circle. It won't go in all the way but just start it and then set the rest of the case down in the well. Now twist the entire black case to the right and the flat black are marked with the orange (X) should slide underneath the bar/flange marked with orange circle. The flat piece marked with a purple (X) should be sitting in the area marked with an (X) in the bobbin well. Now take your screwdriver and stick it in the rectangular box and twist it back so the silver piece marked in blue with go back over the edge of the black bobbin case to help hold it in. Hope you can understand my instructions and good luck!

Samsung Epic 4G Phone into a Wi-Fi Hotspot

The Samsung Epic 4G smart phone allows you to convert your phone into a Wi-Fi hotspot and connect up to five devices.
Such a set-up will keep you from running around searching for an area that offers free Wi-FI. If you're stuck in an airport or staying overnight at a hotel, you won't have to pay extra for Internet service.
You can connect your laptop or other media device to your phone's Wi-Fi network.

Press the "Home" button, which looks like the outline of a house, on the bottom of your Samsung Epic 4G phone.
Click the "Menu" button to the left of the "Home" button.

Click the "Settings" icon, which looks like a gray box with a spoke in the middle.

Scroll through the list and click "Wireless & Networks."

Press "4G" until a check mark appears, indicating the 4G network is enabled.

Click the "Home" button.
The 4G icon will appear to the left of your signal bars in the upper-right corner of your screen.
The separate sets of bars above the 4G logo indicate the strength of your 4G signal.
When the bars above the 4G logo are completely gray and the 4G logo is white, you have a weak signal.
When you are no longer receiving a 4G signal, your 4G logo will be gray and a 3G logo will appear, indicating that the 3G network is now enabled. If both of the logos disappear, you are not receiving any signal.
You must have either a 3G or a 4G signal to use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Enable Sprint Hotspot
Press the "Applications" icon, a blue box with four whites squares in it, in the lower-right corner of your Samsung Epic 4G phone.

Press the "Sprint Hotspot" icon, which looks like a phone with two signal bars on the right side, until a check mark appears to the right of the icon, signaling the Spring hotspot function is enabled.
A pass-key allowing you to connect other devices to the phone's network will appear on the screen.
Write the pass-key down.

Enable Wi-Fi on your laptop or other device that you want to tether to your Samsung Epic 4G phone.

Search for the Wi-Fi network affiliated with your Samsung Epic 4G phone.
The name of the network will begin with "SPH-D700XXX."
To change the name of the Wi-Fi network affiliated with your Samsung Epic 4G phone, press the "Menu" button; the "Settings" icon; and "Device Name." Enter the new name for phone's Wi-Fi network.

Click the network affiliated with your Samsung Epic 4G phone on the device you want to tether to your phone'ss Wi-Fii network.
Enter the pass-key, and click "OK."
Your device will now be tethered to the Wi-Fi hotspot on your Samsung Epic 4G phone.

How replace trunk lid torsion bar 2005 malibu

There are two rods, one has rubber on it. I just replaced the one with rubber on it. Looking at the one rod that was still in place, you can see it mirrors the rod you are going to replace, the placement is just opposite the one that is in there. The rod has a left end that is a square "C" shape, and the right end has a "V" bend right before the end. First position the rod above the seat release cables (if you have them) then position the "V" end near the inside right top of the trunk. Then slide the left "C" end into one of the three slots (I used the bottom slot). Leave it loose so it can rotate with just the tip in the slot. Slide the rod to the right so the "V" is above the spring clip (don't clip it in yet). The right side and the left side of the "V" has to fit into the tabs underneath and inside the top of the trunk. Compare to the left side to see how it fits. Once in place, you can then lower the "V" down to the clip and snap it over the bottom tip of the "V". These steps are easier if the trunk is propped not fully open. I had someone lower the trunk part way while I lay on my back inside the trunk, and I used a small open end wrench to bend the rod slightly to get it to fit into the tabs. The final step is to position the left side of the rod so the torque will hold the lid open. I used a small open end wrench, placed it over the tip in the slot and rotated CW upward until straight part of the rod slid over the hook to hold it in place. This last step had me concerned that I could bend or break the rod, but I went slowly and carefully and was quite happy when it snapped into place and held the lid open.

Shatterd phone screen!!!!

Hi,i think the inner touch pad of the LCD screen is bad and it needs to be replaced,here is a detailed guide to help you disassemble your LG arena;
Tools required: Phillips screwdriver, mobile phone opening tool, plastic tool such as a guitar plectrum or credit card, double sided tape.
STEP 1 Remove your back cover, battery, sim, memory card etc. Remove the four circled screws.
STEP 2 Run your mobile phone opening tool around the join of the front and back of the phone. Start at the top and then pull the phone apart when you can get enough of a grip.
STEP 3 A ribbon connector (circled) needs to be disconnected. It attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever this up to unplug. Next, peel the blue sticker off.
STEP 4 The circled ribbon connector needs to be disconnected. Just flick the black latch up and pull the orange ribbon away from the circuit board.
STEP 5 Pull the circuit board towards you. A little force is required but be careful as a cable is still connected to the board and you don't want to damage it.
STEP 6 on the left is a connector that disconnected when you pulled the circuit board towards you. Remove the screw, in the upper right corner. Disconnect the two ribbons beside the camera. Each attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever each one up to unplug. Lever up the white wire above the battery slot . Remove the blue sticky tape above the white wire.
STEP 7 Lift away the part above the camera. The ribbon connector needs to be disconnected. Just flick the black latch up and pull the orange ribbon away from the circuit board.
STEP 8 Pull the circuit board away from the phone. Note that the connectors, disconnect when you remove the circuit board. Lever up the wire at the base of the phone. Remove the 2 screws at the edges of the base . Peel back the silver sticker
STEP 9 Use your mobile phone opening tool to lever up the metal part bounding the screen . It's stuck down with double sided tape so using a hairdryer to heat the part may make it easier to remove
STEP 10 Slide something like the edge of a credit card or guitar plectrum under the right edge of the touch screen. Again, this part is held down with double sided tape which may be easier to remove if you heat it up a little first. You should replace the double sided tape when you put the phone back together.
STEP 11 Lift the touch screen from right to left.
STEP 12 Lever the two long stoppers out and then use the recesses as levering points to lift the screen out.
STEP 13 You should now have the LCD screen removed. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
The screen costs only 39USD.
Thanks and take care

I'd like to disassemble my Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Jumperoo for storage. The ''toy bar'' (red bar in the outline of a barn) doesn't seem to come out. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

I have the same problem. I did manage to release one side of the toy bar (left side when looking from front) by pressing very firmly on the red plastic tab that's visible underneath, using a metal tool. But on the other side of the bar, the holding tab is hidden by a white plastic cover, which itself is held by 4 white plastic tabs that I couldn't release.

Signal

First thing ensure that the TomTom is fullly charged using the home charger.
Press the small reset button on the base (700) or do a factory reset.
The other thing to try is tap the GPS signal bars to go to the configure and check in the top right hand corner there is a circle with yellow and black esgments if this is moving then your TomTom is looking for a signal. Move around and you should find that the bars at the bottom will start to move and the small screen on the right will start to indicate circles. When the bars start to move you are getting GPS signals when the bars change to blue there you have a coordination for your position. Some areas are worse than others so move out of your house if after doing above does not get a signal

No Analogue or digital channels!

Hello - I just posted something too. Not sure if its the same problem as yours. If you get a response from elsewhere, please let me know. I'll do the same. In our case we have a blank screen with a bar running across the top of the screen reading 'No signal' on left side and 'C611' on the right side. The 611 might be the last channel we were on !
