The large, easy to use console gives you all the critical feedback from calories, to time, to distance, along with an assortment of energizing programs to keep you working out day after day. The console also includes speakers and an audio jack for you to plug-in your choice of MP3 player or cell phone for entertainment and a fan to keep you comfortable and cool. (omg a fan)
and
The SB4.5r fitness bike is supplied with an external power supply. When power is connected to the fitness bike, the console will automatically power up. If there is no input to the console for 30 minutes, the console will go to stand-by mode to save energy. To turn the console on press any key

Our Colby DVD938 Home Theater System has no power. We unplugged and plugged the system in. Still no power.

More info would help. Was it working before? For how long? How old is it? Have you checked the wall plug for power with a lamp or a tester? How long did you wait for the system to reset before you plugged it back in? IF the wall plug has power and IF you've waited at least 10 minutes before you plugged it back in, then try this: unplug all of the power cords from each component to the next component until all are unplugged. THEN unplug the main power cord going to the wall plug. Wait 10 minutes, then plug back in all of the power cords to the MAIN UNIT and then plug the main unit (the receiver I would assume) back in the wall. If that doesn't work, something in the HTS itself is blown. Good luck. . .

My power cord for the docking station is beginning to unravel with wires showing. Can it be replaced or repaired?

First, I know nothing at all about ipods. However, I am a decent electronics guy. Obviously, one end of the power cord plugs into a wall outlet; the other connects to the station. How? Does the cord simply disappear inside the station, or is there some kind of connecting plug? Which end is frayed? If it's at the wall plug end, you could simply cut the wire (unplug it first !!!) above the fray and wire in a new standard wall plug. You can do the same on the station end if the wire runs directly into the unit AND if you can get in there to reconnect the wire. If, on the other hand, the wire is attached to the station via some sort of power plug (like a printer for example), you'd better leave that puppy alone and invest in a new docking station or new power cord. You'd also better stop using the unit unless you can fix it. Bare wires spell tripped breakers and danger of injury.

How can i get a power cord for my Swinn ex. bike?Estimated to be 5 Years old.

It would help to know what model bike You have because that model number can be given to any appliance parts dealer that You find locally, possibly even Sears, to get a replacement power adapter. I'm assuming Yours is like a small transformer that plugs into the wall outlet with a small cord that has a shiny metal pin on the end that plugs into Your Bike? Adapters for other Schwinn® and Nautilus® home fitness equipment can be ordered by phone at (800) 605-3369. Optional power adapter for the Schwinn® A40 elliptical, A10 and A15 upright bikes and A20 and A25 recumbent bikes. I hope that helps!

We had a power outage, now pixma Mx410 won't come on, any ideas?

Is pinter plugged into a power strip? Try plugging directly into wall. Make sure wall outlet is working correctly, try another item in plug in. Does printer have a power module or brick that is plugged into printer? That power module is there to protect your printer during a power surge, it may need to be reset. Is there a light on that brick or power module? If so, does it light up? If not, could be a bad power module. There is no such thing as "reset" button, so don't look there...It will have to be reset in a series of ways for an "external" module.
  1. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, power strip, or surge protector.
  3. If the printer uses a power module with a detachable power cord, disconnect the cord from the power module.
  4. Wait 15 seconds.
  5. If the printer uses a power module with a detachable power cord, reconnect the power cord to the power module.
  6. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  7. Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet. Do not use a power strip or surge protector.
  8. Check to see if the power module or the power cord has an indicator light and if it is on
For an internal module:
  1. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet, power strip, or surge protector.
  3. Wait 15 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  5. Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet. Do not use a power strip or surge protector.
  6. Check to see if the power module has an indicator light.
Not sure if this will help you..but worth a try.....

Have a Sunrise Aspire chair w/new batterie, charged by the repairman. Want to keep it charged regularly (not let it run down). DO I NEED TO TOTALLY DISCONNECT THE POWER HOOKUPS IN THE BACK when I...

You do not need to unplug the large 9 pin beau plug in the rear or the smaller 3 pin molex plug when you charge the chair. Do not unplug them or you will not charge the chair.
Use your charging cord as you describe "plug it into the front, plug it into the wall and charge, then unplug the charger cord and GO". Hope this helps.

My display screen is rolling and nothing stops it. My computer says the printer is offline.

Try doing this procedure to correct the problem.

1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Unplug the power cord from any surge protectors or power strips.
3. Select a wall outlet to plug the product into. Test the wall outlet by plugging another electric appliance, such as a lamp, into the wall outlet and turning it on. Unplug the test appliance.
4. Plug the power cord into the back of the product.
5. Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
6. Press the Power button to turn the product on.
7.Now check if its already working.

Power cords

Yes,

You will constantly draw power from the outlet. Though it may not be as much draw as if you were running a device on it. Try picking up the AC adapter one day when not plugged in to the laptop. It still gets hot.

On another note,
When using AC power you should ALWAYS plug it into the back of the device before plugging it into the wall outlet to avoid excessive power surge.
