We turned off freezer to see if line was frozen, still not working. Is there a filter in this model?
Brenda, try the following.
1. disconnect power from the wall.
2. open fridge and freezer doors and leave them open for at least 5-6 hours. salvage foods you can.
3. after a few hours you will see a puddle of water under the fridge.
4. clean the floor and the fridge and freezer of any collected water.
5. power up the fridge and set at recommended level say 4.
6. you will hear humming noise. Let the fridge and freezer cool.
7. dont overload food.
good luck

SOURCE: water line to ice maker frozen
Check to make sure that the damper between the freezer and fridge is not broken or frozen open. Make sure that you shut off the water supply to the fridge until you get this fixed because the line could crack and then you could flood the house.

There are instructions available to repair this problem at www.AnyoneCanFixIt.com. They also sell the part needed to make the repair. Common problem on these refrigerators that were made in about 2005 or later and have the ice bin bucket on the door.

You need to check and see if ice maker has any water init. if not check the fill tube that goes thru the back wall for stoppage while you have it out rin the maker thru a harvest mode and listen for the sounds of the solonoid opening. If tube is full you'll need to replace the slow leaking valve a common problem. for parts call 704-819-6557
SOURCE: Water line in freezer for ice maker keeps freezing
I have had this happen to me before. What happens is the water fill valve
does not completely close and the tube will freeze shut as a small ammount of water will continuosly dribble into the tube when the valve shuts off causing the tube to freeze solid. I tried to clean the valve but that did not work so I replaced it and that ended the problem. A new valve is not expensive.
