SOURCE: Weight Watchers bathroom scale, Model WW60X

I got it! Press "set". You should see "start goal" in the bottom right. Press the user # you want to save as and press "set" again. The display will blink then display "0.0". Step on the scale to get your current weight. Once it's read you current weight, press "set". A goal weight will display. Press "User 1" to make your goal weight go up and "User 2" to make it go down. Press "set" when the display shows your goal weight. That's it. Now all you have to do is press your user # and wait for "0.0" to display before stepping on the scale.

SOURCE: I have a Thinner glass/brass

I have a 10 year old Thinner bathroom scales also. Apparently the manufacturer designed it to make battery replacement hard so you'd buy a new scales. To replace the battery, if your unit is similar to mine, turn it over, remove all the screws and separate the top and bottom. You'll see the glass window that shows the weight. It is held in place by four tabs that are slightly twisted. Straighten them, lift the glass assembly clear without straining the wires, and turn it over to reveal the round black battery case. It is secured by three small screws and clear epoxy. Remove the epoxy with a knife blade, remove the screws, and separate the two halves of the case on one side being careful not to separate the other side where there is a metal connection piece. Using the knife tip, remove the CR2032 battery and replace it with a new one (available at Radio Shack or similar stores). Reassemble in reverse order; no need to replace epoxy. My scales worked fine after that.

My scale shows that i weigh about 30 pounds lighter than i do.

If this is showing your weight, how do you know how much you actually weigh?
Also, you should be testing on a flat, SOLID surface (bathroom tile works well).

How does one adjust the weight. the scale is weighing about 20 pounds light.

Im having the same problems. I dont remember ever getting an instruction manual on how to reset so I'd suggest contacting Rowenta and see if they can send you the info. I'm in the same boat and seems like many others are also.

Instead of showing my weight in pounds (168.00), the window is showing a different kind of number (75.). I don't know how that happened. What should I do to correct this.

Your scale is showing you your weight in kilograms what you need to do is change the settings so it shows you your weight in pounds or stones
