Just about any video-editing program should be able to isolate single frames from your video. It won't be a very good picture, since the video mode records at most two megapixels per frame instead of the seven megapixels the camera can record for stills.

SOURCE: Suddenly, everytime I turn the

The camera might have a bad SD card, the card contacts could be dirty or corroded, or a more severe problem could be happening. Try spraying the card contacts with Electrical contact cleaner, then allow it to dry, and try again. If that doesn't work, try another SD card. If that doesn't work, the camera will have to be serviced. You can take it into a local camera repair shop, or contact Canon Support on the web.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

SOURCE: Recovering deleted photos on Canon PowerShot SD750 Digital Camera

I have had success with this... Download the program

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

I have deleted by mistake photos that i have taken ov my sons rugby tournament today is it possible to retrieve them thanks mandy

Yes it is, and it's actually quite easy. If you are using a memory card, take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options (Pandora, Recuva, SoftPerfect, VAIOsoft, PC Inspector...) that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones. None of these programs will ask you for money, and they have been checked malware/virus free from the well-known linked download site:

You'll need to use a card reader with these. If you don't have one, that's OK as they're very inexpensive. Just go on Amazon, and search for "SDHC card reader". Here's one like I own, and it's very good.

I think my Powershot deleted my photos to make room for videos!

You may find your still pics were downloaded to a different folder than your videos, on you PC. Do a Start/Search Files and Folders and begin to enter first chars of pic file number.

Else go to Documents/ Pictures
