Kdc-c603 won't play error e-99 - Kenwood KDC-C467FM 6-Disc CD Changer

Try to press the reset button on Kenwood (It returns to factory
settings when the reset button is pressed)

screw needs to be replaced and making sure the bracket it not bent... thus , not allowing the cartridge to come out,,,

I THINK that ERROR 99 means a fault with the PORT OF YOUR PLAYER, reset button CAN HELP you

sounds like the lens is dirty -try this out you kow them cans of stuff they use to clean keyboards with its like filtered air or something -try to blow out the guts of the cd changer with one of them cans and maybe it will help with functionality do the same with the cartridge emtied out and then run a cd lens cleaner disc and see if that does the trick-

I put a small pin in the reset button a few times and that then got the catridge to eject.

Just accumulated dust can cause issues with the reader pickup
I'm not sure what T99 means but if you want to spend $35-90 to fix it,
it would be worth it.

I had the same problem. I opened up the unit and found out that there is a plastic gear that moves the loader. When worn the loader can not load tha magazines nor change cd's. I replaced the gear and the cd autochanger worked fine.

hi TOC error sounds like its the laser is faulty. you could try a cd cleaning disc. this may cure the problem..

E-99: Changer malfunction, disc may be caught in machine or changer requires service. I suggest the lens needs a clean, or someone has dropped it and broken the delicate lens mech. Luck
