Question about Logitech X-230 Computer Speakers

1 Answer

Right speaker malfunction

After plugging in my ipod headphones into my logitech's headphone port, not my computer's, sound began coming out of headphones (duh, right?) but after i removed them the right speaker no longer worked. Alternately, if i put my ipod headphones into the headphone port again, HALFWAY, the right side works and cuts out the left side (it also plays both L & R in headphones). I don't know what to do, any help would be extremely appreciated.

Try blowing the headphone jack hole. One hard puff should do the job

I have no sound

Try different speakers which you know are working if possible.
If the good speakers are also not working, then your Logitech speakers may be ok. Try plugging them into a different device such as iPod headphone jack, stereo headphone jack, etc.
Let me know how you go.
Hope this helps, Benji

Can i connect the logitech z 2300 speakers to my hp g 60 538ca laptop

Yes. Speakers have a standardized 3.5mm connector (the same as headphones). Your laptop also has a headphone port which will fit this plug and play sound out through the speakers.

Speakers work with ipod not with laptop

First thing, you have plugged in to the wrong point, plug in the speaker to the headphone slot(mostly light green in color).

MIC point is specifically for MIC not speakers.

The point which works for your headphones would work perfectly for speakers.
