My child locked the microwave pad. How do I unlock it?

The operation manual is available for free download from Samsung at this site: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200305/20030529145700437_MW5592.pdf
The answer to how to lock and unlock is on page 15 of the manual. It's instructions are: 1. Press the '0' button, the display will show: "PRESS 1- DEMO 2-CHILD LOCK"
2. Press the "2" button, the display will show: "PRESS START"
3. Press the start button and the display will show "LOCK" then returns to the time of day.
At this point the microwave can't be used. To unlock, just repeat steps 1-3.
Hope this helps

I have accidentally locked my microwave oven (profile performance convection oven). I was cleaning the front. Can you tell me what to do?

Got you covered. Here you go:

Microwave - Explanation of the Child Lock Out Feature
Many microwave control panels can be locked to prevent accidental use or access by children.
There are two different ways to lock the control panel:
1. Press and hold the CLEAR/OFF pad for 3 seconds. The display will show "LOCK" and then revert to the time of day.
A small "L" will appear in the corner of the display as a reminder that the control panel is locked. If anyone tries to use the microwave, the display will show "LOCK".
2. On some models, press and hold the 5 and 7 pads simultaneously for 3 seconds.
To unlock the control: Repeat the procedure which was used to lock the control. (Press and hold the CLEAR/OFF pad for about 3 seconds or hold the 5 and 7 pad simultaneously for 3 seconds.)

That info is from GE

Hope that does the trick.

Our Microwave, Jet343g shows display but wont work, also our oven

I am in desparate need of either a GE Jet343G oven with a manufacture date before May of 1989 - or a manual or some documentation that shows this oven was made before than.
