I agree, but if it's not possible to access with cd default IP address is 192.168.0.253, you need to know default gatway information of your router, maybe is 192.168.1.1 and then you need to change default IP camera address, the best option is to use a cross over cable with your computer, change your IP addres in your computer for a new one inside CAMERA RANK for example 192.168.0.128 and plug the cable in your computer and in your camera, in this way you can acces directly to the camera from explorer only writing IP address 192.168.0.253, once inside camera you can modify the camera configuration following router configuration. good luck!

Try this - unplug the power from the camera (and the ethernet cable if it is using one). Locate the 'Factory Default Reset' button on the camera get a paperclip and straighten it out. Plug the power back into the camera and press the reset button with the paperclip until you see the indicator light flash and go out (about 10 seconds). Now attach the ethernet cable to the camera and into your router and insert the Panasonic camera utility disk into your computers CD Drive. Run the setup utility from the disk and after a few minutes it should find the camera and you can follow the instructions for a new set-up. If the camera has been on more than 20 minutes when you start the setup utility, unplug it for 10 minutes and try again. Oh, and turn off Windows firewall while you are doing this.

I need a simple set-up manual for model # WRT54GS router

Your Internet service provider is comcast cable company.
You need to open the setup page of the router and change the Internet connection settings manually.

Connect the computer to the router and modem to the router.
Open the setup page of the router using 192.168.1.1
Click on MAC address clone. Enable it and click save settings.
Power cycle the router and your main computer will be online.
Then you can change the wireless settings manually.

I have a router that I bought about 5 years ago and I am trying to figure out how to change my wireless network connection from unsecured to secured? I tried reinstalling the disc but something is wrong...

Go to Linksys.com and get the directions from there. After you get them, remember to set system name to unique name, set wireless security, change channel to 11 to free up wireless land line interference. And change router password. Tape this info to the bottom of the router.

Check on your cables makes sure they are inserted properly and the cord should be free of kinks, scrapes or loose connections......Also check the back of your computer make sure your ethernet card (the one that has the green lights/LED's) is seated properly (not loose)....

Good Luck.....hope this helps...if not let us know....cheers

I have a Linksys router (BEFRSR41) that will only connect

I would suggest a Linksys reset:

This is done by simply holding down the reset button located on the back of the unit for at least 30 seconds. Try the other ports at this time.
If you still have problems:
Once the router has been reset, you can log in to it.. Using your web browser go to URL address http://192.168.1.1. You will then be prompted to login to your router. A log-in screen asking for the password will automatically appear. At this time enter the default password “admin”, in lower case letters into the password field. The username field may be left blank at this time. (Note: both the default username and default password are set to “admin” on some of the newer Linksys router models).
There you can look around the setup pages and see if any errors are reported. Also make sure that it is set for DHCP.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe
