SOURCE: Our Sony 400 disc changer won't open. I can hear

If ure an expert, then open up the set, check for alignment balancing for the gears and see if the belting has worn out. Pioneer till today uses belt for ejecting. Belt usually the issue.

SOURCE: Our cd changer will not open or play and I need

Hi,
You need to open your player cover to get your disc ( Please unplug the power prior to do this). The main problem is on your mechanism system that prevent you open / close the disc tray. So please check the motor of your mechanism and its gears for malfunction, then get them fixed before retry your player. Regards

I have a Emerson 6 disk CD changer. The door no longer opens and its making a funny noise. What can be wrong with it?

If your Emerson 6-disc CD changer's door is not opening and it's making a funny noise, there could be a few possible causes:
1. Mechanical issue: There could be a mechanical problem with the CD changer's door mechanism. It's possible that a part has worn out, become loose or broken, preventing the door from opening. The funny noise could also indicate that something is stuck or jammed.
2. Electrical issue: It's possible that there is an electrical problem with the CD changer. There could be a faulty connection, or an issue with the motor that drives the door mechanism.
3. Dirty or dusty: It's also possible that the CD changer's door mechanism is dirty or dusty. Over time, dust and debris can build up inside the changer, making it harder for the door to open and close.
To fix the problem, try these steps:
1. Unplug the CD changer from the power outlet and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in. Sometimes, this can reset the CD changer and fix any software issues.
2. Try manually opening the CD changer door. Look for a small hole or slot near the CD changer door. Insert a paper clip or a similar object into the hole and gently press down. This should release the door lock and allow you to manually open the door.
3. If the CD changer door opens, check for any CDs that may be stuck or jammed. Carefully remove any obstructions and try again.
4. If the CD changer door still does not open, there may be a mechanical or electrical issue. In this case, it's best to take the CD changer to a qualified repair technician or contact Emerson customer support for assistance.
Remember to always exercise caution when attempting to repair electronic devices. If you are unsure about how to proceed, seek the help of a qualified professional.

PIONEER CDX-FM65 PLEASE SCHEMATIC!!

err11 right? causes are either-
1/ dirty, scratched or upside down disk
2/ electrical or mechanical system fault

solution for number 2 from pioneer is

Turn the car ignition off and on again, or press power on/off button on the display unit and start the cd playing again

and one more thing to do is to open the door to the disk changer and bottom right you have a reset button press that then try again :)

These are the only thing err 11 can be with this model

Hope this helps you

ALPINE CVA 1003 AND A DHA 5680 DVD/CD CHANGER

you have the amp remote wire hooked to the power antenna lead instead of the amp wire on the deck otherwise just hook it to a switched +12 volt source. You sure you got a DVD changer instead of just a cd changer

My CD changer's disk tray keeps opening up, refuses to play discs

You have a problem with the try control circuit. It could be the switch is leaking across itself. Could be a problem with the tray motor control IC, or the Microprocessor is not reseting the open tray line correctly, or theres a cam assembly inside the unit that tells the microprocessor where everything is by means of small micro/leaf type switches thats out of alighnment or broken. If its seven years old, you got more then it was designed for and I would'nt invest a dime or the time into the repair of this unit. Time to take a trip to the electronics store. Good luck
