It is unlikely not to have copied the audio, You don't say what device you are trying to play the file on. If it's your computer you need to have the correct codec installed for the type of audio in the file. First try installing VLC VideoLAN Official page for VLC media player the Open Source video...

While Cyberlink Producer will indeed to dvd authoring, you might want to try something a little easier on the new user, i have used DVDStyler
This software is free to use on any computer and is pretty friendly for the first time user, please post back if you have more trouble with this.

your wanting to make a back up of the cd if im correct programs such as nero clone dvd ect are good for making back ups of the cds if there is a copywrit protection you would need to find aprogram that will work with what burnign program your using to remove the copyright encryption so you can make a copy
