I have a Samsung refrigerator rf323tedbsr. It isn't very old, but started making noise when the water turns on for the ice maker or water dispenser door. Just for the first few seconds as the inlet solenoid opens fully the water line vibrates pretty bad or bangs. Water pressure is right - about 60 psi, while water line is new including a hammer arrester. I bought a new inlet solenoid assembly hoping it fixes the issue, but have yet to install it. I see that it is inside the housing that holds the water filter inside the fridge, but can't seem to figure out how to remove the assembly to get to it. So, my 2 questions are as follows... Is it possible this will fix the issue? Regardless, how do I get the assembly out to get to the solenoid? Assembly I am trying to remove contains the water filter and runs front to back. Thanks in advance for any help.
The Samsung side by sides and french doors have split systems meaning both freezer and ref have evaps. Your water reservoir could be frozen. They have DC heater that is attached to reservoir so it does not freeze, this could be your problem. The other problem that I have run across is the water line in the door can be frozen. If it is the door, you can check by locating where it enters the door, because it will have a quick disconnect. Disconnect water line and grab a cup and place cup under diconnected line coming from cabinet on the door and press or have someone call for water on fountain. Let me know if that helps. Thanks Logan.

if the filter is dirty enough to where it stops the flow of water then yes.a replacement of the filter should fix the problem for you
That's the icemaker cycling.Ifya don't have water connected,it's still think'n its filling trays and dumping frozen cubes and all that stuff.Turn off the icemaker.Rigger said that.C-YAAaaaaaaaaaaaa

most refrigerators have a small drainage hole leading from the inside rear of the compartment to an overflow container behind the unit, pull the unit away from the wall and check if the liquid in the container has become stagnant, if so simply clean it out and run a small amount of bleach down the hole to disinfect the tube.
hope this helps.
