It sounds like your tv might be on the way out. You will have to check this by putting another device on it. If the TV is working fine for all your channels then it is the DVD player or the DVD. A Blu Ray will not work on all TVs or all DVD players without what is called a scan converter.
Testimonial: "The strange thing is both tube TV's work fine. I have switched up different DVD (not blue ray) players to two different TVs and even tried different DVD movies (not blue ray) and changed the connecting cables. And the same result, movies now play in blue color. when I connect the DVD players to the TV, the screen that shows the DVD logo is even in blue...on both TVs and both players on any movie I put in."
Ok....just so I get this clear. You have two tube tvs which both work fine with an "tv signal". You have two DVD players with a regular DVD. No matter what combination of TV to DVD player you use it still comes up blue? If this is that case then your cables have to be hooking the RGB up incorrectly. Have you tried this with just a composite video feed?

SOURCE: No Video for my cable tv. Audio works
You have the TV connected to the cable box with an HDMI cable, I'll bet. The problem is with the cable box. If you unplug the cable box and plug it back it it will reboot and proabably work. You should connect the cable box to the TV using component cables and you won't have this problem again.
SOURCE: TV IS NOT RECEIVING SIGNAL FROM LAPTOP
Check graphic card software on laptop to make sure it's on the right settings to output image to TV.
SOURCE: Television is not recognizing HDMI inputs
there is a possibility that there might have been a power surge sent over hdmi into the hdmi board on the tv. if on your model the hdmi board is seperate from the sine board then youll have a cheap replacement if not its gonna cost you roughly 300-400 is my guess.

SOURCE: Samsung 2333HD to dvd/vcr combo
Hi there,
On a DVD/VCR combo unit....the Component Output (RED, GREEN, BLUE) is exclusive to the DVD player section only (VCR can only output analogue source) and will only be able to view DVD.
To watch VCR, you will need to connect to your TV via Composite (YELLOW) cable, into the Yellow AV input on your TV. You can then tune the VCR section to match your TV's RF input (if you prefer this connection).
Good luck...

SOURCE: when using component cables(red, green, blue )
The series of the cable should go green red blue into the back. if you put the green in the red and the red into the green it give the TV a red base to go off of for the picture so everything is red. The reason the green cable won't is because it transmits a black and white picture which allows it a nice base to add the green and red to.
