Question about Ovens

AEG oven switches itself off after 35 mins

Hi, Since the clocks went back on Sunday and we altered the time on the oven display every time I use the oven it turns off after about 35 mins.  If I leave the oven on it comes back on by itself. The oven light goes out the fan stops and the heat goes.  Is it the timer, the thermostat or what???  Before this it has been working well.  It is about 2 years old and in use every day. It is model no. B41014.
Hope you can help.
Regards Donnava.

Does it turn off after the oven has got upto temperature if it does it is probably that your thermostat has gone as this cuts off as a safety feature if your oven gets hotter than the thermo setting then it will shut off to protect from over heating or causing a fire hazzard with high temperature are you sure you havent changed the timer as well cus you can set a timer for your oven to switch on at certain time and to also switch off after a certain time if you still have the manuall have a look through the timer section if you do not have a manuall then check on your makers web site these should have a manuall online for you to check first i would check that the timer is not on if i can find you a manuall online i will post back hope this is some help.................

Try setting time. Not 100% sure how on that model put you can try by going through the timer setings, eventually you should get to a display with the clock showing that you can alter by pressing the + and -. Hope this helps

The power went off, when it came back on the oven time displayed. when we tried to turn on the oven the message feature not available came on

First try this: In your Household Circuit Panel, Turn the Circuit Breaker to the off position. Wait 30 Seconds and then turn it back on. Try to turn the oven on if it comes on you are in luck, if not look in your manual for first time set up instructions like setting the clock date and time, and go through the settings. Then try the oven again. If it comes on you are in luck.

The actual temperature of my oven does not agree with what it says on the digital readout in the clock area. I have been told that you can adjust the reading of the clock, but I cannot find the service...

Press bake and set temp. to highest setting on some it's 500 on others it's 550 aftef setting to highest bake setting. Press and hold bake button until 00 is displayed, use up/down arrows to adjust in 5 degree incriments to plus/minus 35 dergees . ONce you've adjusted it push cancel/off button and you adjustment will be stored even if power loss and clock went out.
If your temp is more than 35 degrees off the clock needs to be replaced

My bosch oven - HBA 13B250B is not displaying the clock real time any more. The oven still works. I can't find my instruction manual. Any ideas how to reset the clock

Hi,

To change time on your Bosch oven, please do the following:

1. Press the clock icon (above the MINUS (-) button repeatedly until the clock icon on the display illuminates.

Please note: There are 4 illuminated icons on the display above the time. There are 3 which have clocks on them. You need to make sure the 4th icon (on the far right) is illuminated on the display.

2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the clock to the correct time.

Once you have set the correct time, the oven will return the displaying the time and the illuminated clock icon will disappear. You do not need to press anything to confirm the time is set.

If you are still having difficulty, please post back for further assistance.

Regards,
BElectric

I Have the whirlpool Oven RBD306PDQ8 - The power went out in our neighborhood, when it came back on the clock display will not appear. We can set the clock, it stays on the panel for about 10-20 seconds...

When the power came back on, it sent a power surge to the ERC (clock assembly). Try turning the oven breaker off for 10-15 minutes, this is to reset the ERC. If the display still doesn't work, you will need to replace the ERC-Electronic Range Control.

My GE Oven heating element and timer clock went

Try unplugging the oven and let sit for 10 min. This will reset the curcuit board and reboot the electronics. You may have to pull out the stove o get to the cord.

Kitchenaid superba 27 double oven clock - can't change the time!

I went to the website:

http://www.kitchenaid.com/custserv/service.jsp
from page 8
Turn the knob to the left until a tone is heard and "time" appears in the display window. The previously set time will appear in the display window.

Continue turning the time knob in either direction until the correct time of day appears in the display window

Press the START button to begin clock operation
