If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.
To print a document, make sure you have installed the drivers for your printer and have plugged in the USB cable for it, also make sure it's turned out and there's paper in the tray. Now open up your document in Word/Notepad/Whatever it opens it in, then go to File->Print (alternatively you could press CTRL+P simultaneously). Check all the settings including number of copies then press Print.
You don't start a print from the printer. The program you're printing from (Word, your e-mail program, Adobe Reader, etc.) sends the print job to the printer and the printer automatically begins printing. Those other buttons are there so you can manually start the operations that need your control.
You'll need to make sure the proper driver software is installed on your computer so your operating system will be able to use the printer. You can find those drivers at HP's website. Pick your operating system from the drop-down menu and you'll find the appropriate software. You can also download the manual and find other information at the site.
1. Click on the File tab then click the option Print. A new printing options page will appear where you can choose the printer from the pull-down menu and select your printing options.
2. Select the number of copies you want and click "Print".
i assume you have installed the original cartridge, in this case you may need to reinstall the ink once again, the head contains a small chip that recognize the presence of the new ink, unless you are using a generic one which can also cause this issue
Hi, I would like to inform you that there is no way to print with black cartridge alone. You need to install two cartridges to wok the printer. So I recommend you to install color cartridge and change the settings to print in black only.

When you bring up your directions in mapquest, under the red "MapQuest" logo in the upper lefthand corner there are these options:
✓ Print✓Save Send To ▼
Click on the "Print" option and a printer-friendly version will appear. You can choose "text and map" or "text only," then click on print and your printer options box will appear.
I hope this helps.
