How to set the alarm on a sharp alarm clock - Sharp Audio Players & Recorders

I am uncertain how to present this to you. Press the ALARM ON/OFF button to turn off the alarm.
If you want to turn on the alarm again, press the ALARM ON/OFF button once more.

I don't have a guide to the internals of this clock but here is a tear down of a similar model if you are game to explore the workings. You could go through that and maybe get an idea of how the systems work together. If you are unable to fix the problem, you will find the contact details for Sharp support in the manual. go to the al mode and the just tap the set button. If you hold the set button down it will try to set the alarm. so just tap it and it will change one timezone per tap.
