SOURCE: logitech x-230 9 pin problem . i need to manualy

worked on this for 3 days but i finaly got it I had to open it an follow coper lines using datasheet, the connector is RS232 the pins are

1 = LED+
2 = IN R
3 = OUT R
4 = OUT L
5 = GND
6 = ON
7 = 5V
8 = GND
9 = IN L

so you have to put a swiths between pin 6 and 7

you should also put a potentiometer GND-IN-(AUDIO SOURCE)

and a led between pin 1 and GND

and that is it!

Broken green pin on logitech x230 can this be replaced

if the green pin is what plugs into your computer, a traditional, headphone 1/8th inch headphone jack, it can be replaced, however there is some soldering involved. Radio shack sells the replaceable ends for just a couple dollars. the only problem is knowing which wires to connect to which points on the new end. i would have to see the wire with the insulation stripped off to be able to tell you which are which

Im trying to install Logitech x230 (windows 7). Have folowed all the instructions but there is no sound. I get a pop up and have to choose between line in, etc..which do I choose? Thanks

Please find or download logitech installer in your PC . Check also the pin connection of your hardware at the back of the CPU usually the phone jack there is lighth green.

X-230 logitech.....

For these speakers, the headphone jack is controlled by your sound card. The volume can be adjusted by using the Mixer application in your operating system.

Service Manual for X-230

I used a Radio Shack D-Sub 9 Pin Connector #276-1427
Pin 1-Empty Pin 2-Purple Pin3-Yellow Pin4-Red Pin5-Shield Wire & Green
Pin6 & Pin7-Gray Pin8-Blue & Black Pin9-Brown
The pin numbers are on the face of the connector and are hard to see.
