I have a newly both samsung chat s3353...and as i was trying to connect it to my pc..it says that i have to download the needed software for my phone...when i already downloaded the said software..i began...

the software mentioned by samsung needs .net framework 3 or above installed in ur pc, if it is not it may not install. but it will throw the error saying the framework not present. when u install keep internet on, it will download needed s/w. ur case is weird , mostly with pc aged 3+ will have no issues. if your pc is much older may the xp service packs dont have hotfixes.
the above stated scenario is one side, u might still have different pbms.

Error 401

SYMPTOMS

Internet Explorer may not post data from a POST request and you may receive a "Page cannot be displayed" error message. This problem may occur if the following conditions exist:
  • You perform the POST request on a new connection with a target page that requires authentication.
  • The server immediately replies to the POST request with a "401 Access Denied" response and closes the connection.
CAUSE

The server closes the connection without reading the whole request body, and the server resets the connection when it receives frames that involve the entity body for the POST request. Because the connection is reset, Internet Explorer (Wininet.dll) cannot read the "401 Access Denied" response and process it.
RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

If the hotfix is available for download, there is a "Hotfix download available" section at the top of this Knowledge Base article. If this section does not appear, contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support to obtain the hotfix.

Note If additional issues occur or if any troubleshooting is required, you might have to create a separate service request. The usual support costs will apply to additional support questions and issues that do not qualify for this specific hotfix. For a complete list of Microsoft Customer Service and Support telephone numbers or to create a separate service request, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support (http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support) Note The "Hotfix download available" form displays the languages for which the hotfix is available. If you do not see your language, it is because a hotfix is not available for that language. The English version of this fix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
Date Time Version Size File name ------------------------------------------------------- 27-May-2003 14:57 6.0.2800.1204 586,752 Wininet.dll

Drivers

There are two possible options to resolve your issue:

1. Install the modem drivers for your machine. I cna help locate them for you if you give me the make/model of your machine.

2.
I believe that you mean kb888111.
That is the kb (knowledge base) paper that describes the need for the MS UAA (Universal Audio Architecture) driver that I mentioned in my original reply.
A complete description is available
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...A_Overview.doc
As it mentions in kb888111 you should "submit a request to Microsoft Online Customer Services to obtain the hotfix. To submit an online request to obtain the hotfix, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=6294451 "
They should allow you to download the hotfix executable that your system needs.

Offline problem...won't print

Unplug it and then re plug it in; I suggest USB connection over anything else; don't worry about self install if you already have done so in the past. In the print > hit properties on the icon for bubblejet > go to the ports tab > scroll all thw way to the bottom and click the "USB" checkbox. and you should be good.
